EUR: Germany’s ZEW index and Q3 GDP estimates for Germany, Italy and Eurozone eyed - TDS

Research Team at TDS, suggests that it’s going to be a busy day for data with Q3 GDP estimates for Germany, Italy, and the Eurozone overall (initial prints for Germany and Italy but second print for the EZ), and Germany’s ZEW index for November.

Key Quotes

“For GDP, markets are looking for Germany to expand by 0.3% Q/Q, which would be its slowest pace of growth for a year. And for Germany’s ZEW survey we see upside risks and look for the current assessment to rise to 67.4 (mkt 62.3) and for expectations to rise to 8.7 (mkt 7.9). Lastly, we’ll be keeping an eye on speeches from the ECB’s Lautenschlaeger at 8:30am GMT and Dombret at 2:15pm GMT.”
