Fed ready to remove some accommodation – FOMC’s Kaplan

Dallas Fed Governor Robert Kaplan (2017 voter, neutral) said the Federal Reserve is ready to remove some accommodation in the near future.

Kaplan also added that the Fed is progressing on its dual mandate, noting that the central bank could get more margin next year if fiscal policies also contribute to growth.

Kaplan has also ruled out any chances of a recession.
