Tsunami warning issued in eastern Japan after 6.9 earthquake

An earthquake with a revised magnitude of 6.9 has been recorded off the coast of Iwaki, Japan (10 km deep). NHK is reporting that tsunami could be of 3 meters or higher near Fukushima and residents in the coast of Kamaishi and Tohoku had been advised to evacuate due to the tsunami warning.
