EUR/USD oscillates around 1.3600
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - Following a volatile day, the EUR/USD entered a quieter phase Friday, having spent most of the day oscillating around 1.3600 unable to set a fresh direction.
The EUR/USD reached a daily high of 1.3620 during the European session but was unable to sustain gains and pulled back to the 1.3590 area before the slide was contained. At time of writing, the EUR/USD is trading around 1.3600, recording a 0.1% loss on the day. During the NY session data includes December's housing starts and industrial production.
EUR/USD levels to watch
If the EUR/USD manages to break above 1.3620, next resistances could be found at 1.3650 (Jan 16 high) and 1.3680 (Jan 15 high). On the other hand, supports are seen at 1.3590 (daily low), 1.3550 (100-day SMA) and 1.3525 (Dec 2 low).
