USD/CNY fix projection: 6.9040 - Nomura

Analysts at Nomura offered their projections for today's USD/CNY fix.

Key Quotes:

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 250 pips higher than the previous fix (6.9040 from 6.8790) and 111 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.8929. 

The basket implied change is 137 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.9066 from 6.8929)."
