Norges Bank left rates unchanged at 0.50%

The Nordic central bank left its key rate unchanged at 0.50% at today’s meeting, broadly in line with prior surveys.

The Norges Bank said prospects for lower inflation seem to have re-emerged, while unemployment diminished and the upturn in the economy seems to have gathered some traction. In addition, the central bank noted the inflation expectations remain well anchored.
