NZD/USD has dipped below the 0.83 handle

FXstreet.com (Guatemala) - The NZD/USD has started to take some profits post the run up on the RBNZ from 0.8260 this week.

The dollar is performing still from speculation on the tapering to pick up. Strategists at Westpac Banking Corporation AB said, “US interest rates and the US dollar rose into the London morning, influenced by a WSJ article from Fedwatcher Hilsenrath saying the Fed will taper its QE program by another $10bn next week (released in Asia Tue), but reversed in New York despite no key data or official comment”.

NZD/USD Levels

The 20 DMA is 0.8266, the 50 DMA is 0.8248 and the 200 DMA is 0.8148. RSI (14) reads 41.65. Supports are ascending from 0.8140, 0.8180, 0.8207 and 0.8250. Spot is 0.8297. Resistances are 0.8342, 0.8362, 0.8433 and 0.8446.

USD/JPY's advance tests the 104.50 area

The Dollar comeback against the Japanese Yen from 104.25 found resistance at the 104.50 level where it has been testing several times in the latest hour.
