China’s March trade balance in USD terms

Following the release of China’s trade balance for March, in Yuan terms, the China customs published the data in USD terms, reporting a huge beat across all indicators.

In USD terms,

Trade Balance (USD) March came in at 23.93B surplus versus +10B exp.

Exports (YoY) March: +16.4% (est. +3.2%)

 Imports (YoY) March: +20.3% (est. +18.0%)
