Wall Street closes sharply down after Fed continues with tapering
FXstreet.com (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed down on Wednesday as investors were concerned with the Fed's decision to continue with its tapering process. Emerging markets continued on focus.
The Dow Jones closed down for sixth day in the last seven and after declining 189.77 points or 1.19% the DJIA finished the day at 15,738.79. The S&P 500 eased 18.30 pts or 1.02% to 1,774.20. The Nasdaq Composite lost 46.53 pts or 1.14% to 4,051.43.
