Analysts at Nomura offered their projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 40 pips lower than the previous fix (6.9011 from 6.9051) and 24 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.9035. The basket implied change is 28 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.9007 from 6.9035)."
