EMU: Consumer Confidence up to -11.7 in January
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence edged up to -11.7 in January, from -13.5 in December, the European Commission reported on Thursday. This result is in line with market consensus.
Eurozone Business Climate slid to 0.19 in January, from 0.20 in December, against expectations of growing to 0.35.
The Economic Sentiment Indicator rose to 100.9 from 100.4 and below forecasts of increasing to 101.0.
Industrial Confidence decline accelerated from -3.4 to -3.9, against expectations of -2.8. Services Sentiment jumped to 2.3 from 0.4 and above market consensus of rising to 0.8.
