Wall Street closed mixed amid earnings and ratings
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks market closed Wednesday with mixed note as big companies such as Procter & Gamble Co. and Amazon.com Inc. hit major indexes.
Procter & Gamble Co. cut its forecasts for profit and sales growth in the year to come while Amazon.com lost 3.5% in the day after UBS downgraded its rating.
The Dow Jones declined 30.83 points or 0.19% to finish at 15,963.94; the S&P 500 lost 0.49 points or 0.03% to end the day at 1,819.26; while the Nasdaq advanced 10.24 points or 0.24% to 4,201.29.
