Analysts at Nomura offered their model projections for today's fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 260 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6548 from 6.6288) and 191 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6357. The basket implied change is 317 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6674 from 6.6357)."
