Reuters poll: Crude oil to remain close to $60 per barrel in 2018

According to the latest Reuters monthly poll, released this Thursday, the combined efforts to curb oil output along with forecasts for strong global demand growth should keep WTI crude oil prices close to $60/barrel in 2018.

The survey of 32 economists and analysts showed that Brent crude oil prices would average $59.88 a barrel in 2018, up from the $58.84 forecast in the previous monthly poll. 

For 2019, WTI crude oil is seen averaging $57.78 in 2019 as against $57.01 in the previous poll and Brent oil is seen averaging $61.31 vs $60.79 previous forecast.
