Fund managers: Bitcoin ETF proposals withdrawn due to SEC concern - RTRS

Reuters reports the latest headlines, citing that two US companies shelved proposals to launch bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), in the wake of ongoing concerns by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as suggested by the filings.

According to one of the filings, “Staff at the regulatory agency “expressed concerns regarding the liquidity and valuation” of futures contracts based on the digital asset.
