Draghi’s speech: Must be mindful of tariffs’ effect on confidence

Continuing with his earlier comments at the Generation €uro Students’ Award Ceremony, in Frankfurt, the ECB President Mario Draghi showed confidence that inflation will rise to the central bank’s goal.

Draghi also touched upon the recent hot top of trade tariffs and said:

   •  US tariffs’ direct effect on Euro-zone not big, key issue is retaliation
   •  Must be mindful of tariffs' effect on confidence
