Germany's Seehofer says EU's rigid Brexit stance may cause security risks - Financial Times

According to The Financial Times, Germany's interior minister Horst Seehofer warned Brussels in a letter dated June 27 by arguing that a dogmatic approach to Brexit would put European citizens' lives at risk as it would hamper reaching an unlimited security deal with the UK.

“Weakening the European security architecture would affect all EU citizens and undermine their fundamental need for security. The ever present threat of cross-border terrorism shows the need for unlimited co-operation in future,” The Financial Times wrote quoting the letter.
