PBOC set USD/CNY at 6.1520 vs 6.1493

FXStreet (Bali) - People’s Bank of China (PBOC) set the yuan reference rate at 6.1520 vs a prior close of 6.1493, with the central bank draining 40bn yuan via 28-day repos and 50 bn yuan via 14-day repos.

AUD/USD - Break below 0.9210 exposes 0.9070/0.91 - ANZ

Tim Riddell, Head of Global Markets Research at ANZ, thinks that a close below 0.9210 in AUD/USD should be enough to return to 0.9070-0.9100 within larger moves back towards 0.8900.
