U.S., China plot road map to resolve trade dispute by November - WSJ

According to the Wall Street Journal, Chinese and U.S. negotiators are laying out a roadmap that would lead them to conclude trade talks when President Trump and Chinese leader Xi Jinping meet at multilateral summits in November.

"The planning represents an effort on both sides to keep a spiraling trade dispute—which already has involved billions of dollars in tariffs and comes with the threat of hundreds of billions more—from torpedoing the U.S.-China relationship and shaking global markets," the WSJ further added.
