UK PM Spokesman: EPP’s Weber recognized Chequers proposals were ‘a step forward’

British Prime Minister Theresa May's spokesman crossed the newswires in the last hour saying that the Manfred Weber, the leader of the European People's Party, recognized the Chequers proposals were a step forward in Brexit negotiations. The spokesman further stated that Weber and Theresa May agreed on how the UK and the EU parliaments should be able to vote on a precise plan for the UK-EU relationship.
