EU’s Moscovici: Had positive meeting with senior Italian 5-Star representative

The European Affairs Minister Pierre Moscovici crossed the newswires in the last minute saying that he had a positive meeting with a senior representative for Italy's 5-Star and added that he urged them to soften their tone on budget talks, as reported by LiveSquawk.

There was no market reaction to these remarks and the EUR/USD was last seen trading at 1.1473, where it was down 0.45% on the day.
