Irish PM Varadkar: Longer transition not an alternative to binding backstop

Irish Prime Minister Leo Varadkar is now out on the wires, saying that a longer transition period is not an alternative to a binding backstop.

He was further noted saying that return to violence in N.Ireland is a potential consequence if we get Brexit talks wrong and internal politics in the UK is very difficult.
