Quoting Sky News political correspondent, Reuters recently reported that Minister Nick Hurd, who said that British Prime Minister May wouldn't deliver a statement following the cabinet meeting later today, misspoke and a short statement will be published later in the day.

After slumping to 1.2915 with the initial reaction, the GBP/USD pair recovered and was last seen flat on the day around 1.2980.
