EUR/AUD is on the fence, waiting for triggers
FXStreet (Moscow) - EUR/AUD is sitting close to the opening level of 1.4775 on quiet Asia trading
EUR/AUD bulls hope for good EZ data
EUR/AUD spiked to 1.4927 on Wednesday, but could not hold grind above 1.4900 and finished the day at 1.4875. Early on Thursday Aussie is consolidating losses across the board, which makes the cross less vulnerable to harsh movements. The bulls might get another chance to push the cross above 1.4900 resistance if German IFO numbers come out better than expected, though they may claim victory only if the cross stays above that level on daily basis.
What are today’s key EUR/AUD levels?
Today's central pivot point can be found at 1.4840 with the support at 1.4728, 1.4626 and 1.4524, with resistance above at 1.4962, 1.5054 and 1.5176. Hourly Moving Averages are bullish, with the 200SMA at 1.4780 and the daily 20EMA at 1.4849. Hourly RSI is bullish at 56.
