BoE’s Carney: Central bank ready for whatever form Brexit takes

BoE Governor Mark Carney, speaking on the sidelines of World Economic Forum in Davos, said that the central bank has been preparing for Brexit since 2016 and is ready for whatever form Brexit takes. 

Carney was further noted saying that it is not automatic which way policy would go in the event of a hard Brexit but the central bank has policy room. Data has broadly borne out bank's predictions prior to Brexit referendum, he added further.
