USD/JPY is stuck at the opening level of 102.34
FXStreet (Moscow) - USD/JPY has stopped at its opening level of 102.34, as traders cannot make up their mind.
Yen is on Golden Week
USD/JPY has settled in a lower segment of its current range and managed to finish Thursday only marginally higher. The pair has spend the Asian session in a narrow range as Japan is in the middle of its Golden Week holiday and key US Non-FArm Payroll data looms large. Better than expected data may support the US currency and push USD/JPY to 103.00, though the break through is unlikely. Reaction to the negative surprise might be more pronounced as labour market conditions are considered to be an acid test for the US economy. On the downside the key support is seen at 102.0/00 with strong demand on approach.
