NZD/USD hits 3-week highs

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The NZD/USD rose after Wall Street opening to 0.8676 reaching the strongest level since April 15, extending last week gains. Currently trades at 0.8670, up 0.27% for the day so far.

Earlier the pair bottomed at 0.8647 but then bounced to the upside breaking for a few pips above last week highs but it was unable to rally above 0.8670.

NZD/USD levels to watch

To the upside, above daily highs immediate resistance lies at 0.8695 (March 28, April 15 highs), 0.8710 and then 0.8745/50 (April 10 high). To the downside support level might be located at 0.8640 and below here at 0.8595 and 0.8550.

RBA to remain on hold and stick to neutral rate outlook - Commerzbank

Elisabeth Andreae, analyst at Commerzbank commented that the RBA is likely to stick to its key interest rate of 2.5% Tuesday, as data have come in mixed since the last meeting.
