Brexit: The Commons voted 312-308 on amendment to block no-deal Brexit (GBP higher)

UK MPs have voted to take a ‘no-deal’ Brexit off the table.

What does this mean?

• Britain will only leave the EU after having secured a deal with Brussels, unless it fails to get a delay on Article 50 by March 29 – the Brexit deadline day.
• Political Editor of the FT said there could be resignations due to this amendment.
