US: House prices rose 0.6% in January vs 0.3% expected

The Housing Price Index released by the Federal Housing Finance Agency on Tuesday showed that house prices rose 0.6% in January to beat the market expectation of 0.3%. Additionally, the S&P/Case-Shiller Home Price index in January came in at +3.6% annually to miss the analysts' estimate of 4%.
