Wall Street closes mixed despite 'good' news
FXStreet (San Francisco) - The US stocks finished Thursday mixed as investors didn't welcome at all upbeat jobs data in the US and the dovish tone from ECB’s Draghi that left the door open for further easing in the June meeting.
The S&P closed negative after testing its record close while the Nasdaq Composite extended losses for third day.
The Dow Jones advanced 32.43 points or 0.20% to finish the day at 16,550.97; the S&P 500 declined 2.58 points or 0.14% to close at 1,875.63; while the Nasdaq Composite erased 16.18 points or 0.40% to close at 4,051.50 and to perform its longest decline in a month.
