US Stocks closes higher; Dow at all-time record close
FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street recovered from earlier losses and major indexes closed positive on Friday. The Dow finished at record highs while the S&P remains alternating weekly losses and gains for 10th week.
The Dow Jones advanced 32.37 points or 0.20% to close Friday at 16,583.34; the DJIA rose 0.43% on the weekly basis. The S&P 500 added 2.85 pts or 0.15% to finish at 1,878.48; The S&P declined 0.14% in the week.
The Nasdaq rose 20.37 pts or 0.50% in the day to 4,071.87; the Composite lost 1.26% in the week.
