New Zealand PM Ardern: New Zealand's economic growth likely to be slower

New Zealand's economic growth is likely to be slower than it has been in recent years, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern reportedly said on Friday. 

Finance Minister Grant Robertson, while speaking in the parliament earlier this week, said New Zealand's economic fundamentals are sound and the budget due on May 30 will have supportive policies for the economy. 

PBOC sets yuan reference rate at 6.8993

The People's Bank of China (PBOC) has set the yuan reference rate at 6.8993 vs Thursday's fix of 6.8994.
