ECB's Vasle: Importance of new TLTRO is to keep favorable financing for banks

In a statement reported by Reuters, the European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member Bostjan Vasle made some remarks on the ECB's new targeted longer-term refinancing operations (TLTRO).

Vasle said: “The instrument keeps favorable conditions of financing for banks and thus supports transmission of monetary policy into banks’ credit activity.”
