Japan PM Abe: Wants BOJ to continue to pursue 2% inflation target

Reuters reports the latest comments by the Japanese PM Shinzo Abe, saying that he wants the Bank of Japan (BOJ) to continue to pursue 2% inflation target.

His comments come despite the Japanese output gap having fallen in Q1 2019 to 1.30% from 1.98% in Q4 2018, as per the latest BOJ estimates.
