Germany: Annual GDP rises 2.5% in Q1

FXStreet (Łódź) - On an annual basis German GDP w.d.a. increased 2.5% in Q1, following a 1.4% rise registered the previous quarter, according to data released today by Destatis.

On a quarterly basis Q1 GDP s.a. edged up 0.8%, following a 0.4% increase in Q4, as expected.
Year-over-year GDP n.s.a. climbed 2.5% in Q1, compared with +1.3% in Q4 and above forecasts of 2.3% growth.
