Fed's Rosengren: Pretty close to 2% inflation target

Eric Rosengren is president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, one of 12 regional Federal Reserve banks, is crossing the wires on Bloomberg TV and has said that the Federal Reserve is pretty close to the target;

Additional comments: 

  •  Pretty close to the 2% inflation target.
  • Less policy room compared with before.
  • We should think about more capital buffers for banks. 
  • Slightly worried we have less room if suffer shock.
  • Be aware of distorting finacial marlets to hit inflation.
