EU's Michel: Level playing field a must for any future relationship between EU and UK

Commenting on British Parliament's approval of the Withdrawal Bill, "the vote in parliament is an important step in the ratification process," said European Council president, Charles Michel, on Friday. "Level playing field remains a must for any future relationship between the EU and Britain," Michel reiterated, as reported by Reuters.

Earlier in the hour, British lawmakers voted 358 versus 234 in favour of the EU divorce legislation. As of writing, the GBP/USD pair was up 0.28% on a daily basis at 1.3043.
