EUR/USD hits fresh lows below 1.3530
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD dropped further during the American session and printed a fresh daily low at 1.3520. The Euro and the Swiss Franc weakened in the last hours and fell across the board.
On European hours the EUR/USD rose to 1.3579 hitting a 3-day high, but the recovery was short-lived and resumed the downside. Initially found support at 1.3530 but recently broke below. Still the pair holds above weekly lows that lie at 1.3511 (June 12 low).
EUR/USD down for the week
During the recent days the US dollar lost momentum when it approached 1.3500. Despite being unable to break the support area around 1.3500, where June lows lie, the pair is headed toward a weekly decline of 120 pips, the worst result in a month.
