New records in Wall Street, Dow Jones near 17,000
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Stocks in the US are rising modestly on Friday, the Dow Jones and the S&P 500 reached fresh intraday record highs. In Europe markets finished mostly lower, the exception was the FTSE 100, that rose 0.25%; the Dax lost 0.17% and the Cac 40 retreated 0.48%.
In Wall Street the Dow Jones is up 37 points at 16,957, near the 17,000 mark while the S&P 500 climbs 0.13%. The Nasdaq is falling modestly, currently at 4,358 down 0.03%.
Gold is consolidating on Friday around $1,315, after making a dramatic rally yesterday rising from $1,277 to $1,321. Crude oil is rising 0.60%, trading above $107.
