AUD/NZD enters oversold territory

FXStreet (Guatemala) - AUD/NZD is trading at 1.0736, down -0.24% on the day, having posted a daily high at 1.0773 and low at 1.0732.

AUD/NZD is taking out support of 1.0750 and treading hard on 1.0740 having dropped like a stone from 1.0170 with NZD/USD spiking. On the daily sticks, we can see there should be strong interest here but should this give way, the 1.07 handle could come under threat and quite quickly. However, at the time of writing, RSI is at 19.51, down from 27.47 at the last hour close indicating oversold territory. Meanwhile, daily RSI is in neutral territory at 38.25.

With spot trading at 1.0738, we can see next resistance ahead at 1.0743 (Weekly Classic S1), 1.0746 (Yesterday's Low), 1.0754 (Daily Classic S2), 1.0764 (Daily Open) and (Monthly Low). Support below can be found at 1.0732 (Daily Low), 1.0730 (Daily Classic S3), 1.0691 (Weekly Classic S2), 1.0636 (Weekly Classic S3) and 1.0547 (Annual Low).

NZD/USD takes off, hits 0.8770

Following the US GDP-inspired spike, the Kiwi is building on recent gains, prompted by more heavy buying, which has propelled the exchange rate to a new high of 0.8770.
