Coronavirus update US: Arizona COVID-19 cases rise by 4,877, biggest daily increase

The latest data from Arizona showed that the number of COVID-19 cases in the state increased by 4,877 to 84,092 as of Wednesday. This figures marked the biggest daily increase since the pandemic started, Reuters' calculations revealed. 

Meanwhile, the number of coronavirus-related fatalities rose by 88 to 1,720.

Earlier in the day, Florida reported a daily increase of 4.3% in coronavirus cases, below the previous seven-day average of 5.7%.
