US Commerce Department to add another 38 Huawei affiliates to economic blacklist – Reuters

The US Commerce Department will tighten restrictions on Huawei's access to the US technology and semiconductors, Reuters reported on Monday, citing officials briefed on the matter.

"US actions will mean Huawei cannot get third-party designed chips that use US technology without a license," sources explained. "US Commerce Department will add another 38 Huawei affiliates in 21 countries to the US economic blacklist."
