Coronavirus update: Germany reports 5,186 fresh infections, new deaths ease from record

According to the latest coronavirus statistics released by Germany’s Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the European powerhouse reported 5,186 new infections on Wednesday.

The total tally stands now stands at 380,762. The deaths rose by 26, with the total count seen at 9,875. The daily death rise, however, eased when compared with Tuesday’s +47.
