US stocks lose momentum
FXStreet (Córdoba) - Wall Street rose in the first hour but then lost momentum and pulled back while European markets finished mostly in positive territory.
The FTSE 100 gained marginally 0.04%, the Dax rose 0.20% while the FTSE MIB lost 0.20%. In Wall Street the Dow Jones was falling 0.20% while the Nasdaq was up 0.27%. The S&P 500 moved away from the highs after hitting a new record at 1.989.
The forex market remained steady with the Aussie consolidating gains across the board while the Pound held near daily lows. Gold was falling modestly still trading above $1,300 while crude oil pulled back below $104 a barrel.
