Fed's Harker supports start of bond-buying pullback later this year – WSJ

Philadelphia Federal Reserve Bank President Patrick Harker told the Wall Street Journal that he supports the start of bond-buying pullback later this year, per Reuters.

On a similar note, Dallas Fed President Robert Kaplan told Bloomberg TV on Wednesday that he would prefer to taper before the end of the year. 

Market reaction

The greenback continues to outperform its major rivals following these comments. As of writing, the US Dollar Index was trading at its highest level since early April at 92.57, rising 0.23% on a daily basis.
