Natural Gas Futures: Potential for further gains
In light of advanced figures from CME Group for natural gas futures markets, open interest went up by nearly 10K contracts on Tuesday, resuming the uptrend following Monday’s small drop. Volume, instead, shrank for the third session in a row, this time by around 11.1K contracts.
Natural Gas now targets 2021 highs
Prices of natural gas recovered part of the ground lost on Monday’s selloff and posted decent gains on Tuesday. The move was accompanied by rising open interest, allowing for the continuation of the recovery in the near term and with the next target at recent 2021 highs beyond the $4.50 mark per MMBtu.
