Forex Flash: Dollar bounced against majors yesterday - OCBC Bank

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Emmanuel Ng of oCBC Bank notes that the dollar bounced against the majors on Monday and reclaimed post nonfarm weakness experienced previously on Friday.

He adds that EUR in particular was weakened after the ECB’s Draghi stated that the central bank stands “ready to act again” (on interest rates) if necessary. He feels that these remarks were reminiscent of the dovish slant from the latest ECB meeting and weekend comments from the ECB’s Coeure.
