ECB to study new bond-buying plan – Bloomberg

The European Central Bank (ECB) will reportedly study a new bond-buying plan that can be introduced when the Pandemic Emergency Purchase Program (PEPP) ends in March, per Bloomberg.

The ECB is said to try to limit the widening of spreads with the new plan.

Market reaction

This headline doesn't seem to be having a noticeable impact on the shared currency's performance against its major rivals. As of writing, the EUR/USD pair was trading at 1.1545, where it was down 0.43% on a daily basis.
