Ukraine's Foreign Minister: Ukraine demands closure of global ports to Russian ships

"We are on the precipice of the fourth round of international sanctions on Russia," the Ukrainian foreign minister said on Monday, as reported by Reuters.

The minister added that Ukraine is demanding the closure of global ports to Russian ships and called for boycotts of global companies that don't leave Russia. 

Market reaction

The S&P 500 Futures, which were up more than 1% earlier in the day, was last seen gaining only 0.3%. Meanwhile, Nasdaq Futures are down 0.3% on the day, pointing to a negative shift in risk sentiment.
