Canada: Employment decreases by 45.9K in December
FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Net employment in Canada fell by 45.9K in December, following the 34.8K increase registered the previous month, Statistics Canada reported today. Consensus pointed to a 14.6K rise.
The unemployment rate was at 7.2%, up from 6.9% while the participation rate remained at 66.4%.
